The Birth Gems and Flowers Event is the second Design-A-Goat monthly year-long challenge that users could competitively participate in. Users would submit a Goatling design based on the month's theme. The 9 designs that fit the theme the best would be eligible for final site-wide voting. The design with the top votes would then become an official in-game Goatling and the designer would receive the following:
- Free AD of their design
- 20 goat tokens
Runner ups (2nd place) would receive 10 goat tokens, while honorable mentions (3rd place) would receive 5 goat tokens. All participants would also receive a gift inspired by the winning entry.
It was ran alongside the RPG Classics Event. Both went live on the 3rd of January, 2015, starting with Garnet and Carnation, and ending with Tanzanite/Zircon/Turquoise and Poinsettia. Users could submit designs in both contests, but were not allowed to enter either contest if they won during the previous month.
