The Jestling Event is an annual event that runs for the entirety of April. Members battle the mysterious Jestling Doppelganger to obtain exclusive loot. This baddy will always leave at the end of April. The baddie(s) will appear in Misty Meadows 4 or, in more recent cases, the Battle Center.
Before 2021, its exclusive loot used to retire and will remain retired, but with the addition of the Trickster's Tavern shop, this is no longer the case with newer items. This means items that can be found only during this event will return seasonally.
Many rewards from this event can be crafted in Zorura's shop.
Baddy Information[]
(Main article: Jestling Doppelganger) The Jestling Doppelganger is a limited edition Baddy found in Misty Meadows 4 during the month of April, going by "???". It was introduced on April 1st, 2014, and has continued to reappear annually.
Since 2020, the baddy has started having a variant of itself that would match the theme of that year's event, the variant (or variants) has always been found at the Battle Center for the duration of the event where it would drop part of the ingredients to craft the Goatling featured that year. All these have been year specific and have been replaced every year with a new variant.

2021[]
The original Doppelganger appears once again in its explore area, with only a cardboard version of itself in the Battle Center [4]. The Jestling also expands its career and starts its own shop labeled Trickster's Tavern which introduces its own currency, the Phun Bux. Items found at the shop do not retire and will be available all year long, with new items being added in the next event.
To obtain a Phun Bux, members could battle the doppelgangers and obtain a Jest Bank from explore or the RAD Jest Bank for crafting material from the Battle center. The banks may take a few or more tries to open.
While there was no obtainable AD from battle drops, the Trickster's Tavern stocked the Breaking News item, which is a seasonal lucky box that contains the City Destroyer AD as well as matching items.

2020[]
This Jestling Event introduced the Pink, Blue and Yellow Jestling Doppelgangers [5], who could be found in the Battle Center and dropped the numbers 1 and 2 Egg of their respective colors. The original Jestling Doppelganger could be found in Misty Meadows 4 as usual and only dropped the number 3 Egg of each color. Members could then open the eggs and craft the same colored material found inside them, resulting in a pink, blue, or yellow egg 4. Each number 4 egg, when opened, will drop a Blue, Pink, or Yellow Bonnet AD. All three Bonnet ADs could then be crafted together to obtain a Rainbow Egg, which drops a Painted Bonnet AD when opened [6].

2019[]
The Jestling Doppleganger appears again at its usual location, this time with bean related loot [7]. These bean items could be crafted together to create a Bean Sprout, which could be applied to a goatling to change their appearance to a Bean Sprout [8]. Almost a week later, the sprout "grew", and a goatling's head could now be seen popping out from below the bean sprout [9]. After another week, the sprout continues to grow, with the goatling's body appearing more above ground with all the love and attention it received [10]. At the end of the month, after receiving all the love and attention from members, the bean sprout fully grows out and becomes the Bean Sprout AD [11].

2017[]
The doppelganger is back with its pranks once again. Returning to Misty Meadows 4, it'll award a limited edition item. The Jestling Box will drop another Jestling Box when opened [13].
2016[]
Jestling returns with special loot, and can still be found in its usual location [14].
2015[]
The Jestling Doppelganger makes a comeback [15], staying all month long for members to defeat it at Misty Meadows 4. Some of its loot may be referencing its previous encounter. A final news update implied it will be returning [16].
2014[]
The Jestling Doppelganger first appeared in 2014 in Misty Meadows 4 [17]. Members could defeat it for a chance at an appearance doll to change their goatlings appearance to look like it. Eventually, it was changed and converted to the Jestling we know today.
Trivia[]
- The initial event was simply this baddy appearing in the wild. The baddy was then turned into the official goatling we all know, the Jestling.
- Before 2020, the event starred a single baddy that would appear only in the explore area. All the new doppelgangers have appeared in the Battle Center. It is unknown how the baddy has been able to replicate itself or the relationship between the copies and the original doppelganger.
- Perhaps it is the Jestling today that is the fake.
