Krisgoat was the owner and creator of Goatlings for its 14 year run. She stated during the websites operation that she “worked” “full time”. In December 2025 she was the site's only admin, handling updates and announcements after most of her admin team had resigned. Her social media also frequently features previews of new items and Event content.
Krisgoat had a tendency to ban anyone with a differing opinion or "harrassment", and it had been documented multiple times.[1][2][3]
In addition to handling work on the site, Krisgoat also streams as an 18+ VTuber named TikTak/Love Bunny[4][5][6]with her Neo-Nazi[7] e-husband Zegskiel.
Late 2025 Controversy[]
In October 2025, Krisgoat had been caught tracing and copying a cornfield maze for an Explore Area for the annual Monster Masquerade. The original images were from a Stock Photo website.
After heated community discussion, it was revealed by r00p in a forum post that he and the other staff on site were underpaid for the detail of their work, given incredibly short crunch times in cases of emergency (i.e. copyright concerns with User-Created designs) unable to communicate with Krisgoat regarding issues, and treated horribly for being the primary team of the site. Multiple art and moderation staff resigned within a short timespan.
Oopergate[]
On December 14th, 2025, three new Goatlings Staff accounts were added to the site, and posted a News announcement with comments locked about a supposed acquisition from a private game company. The accounts named Glooper, Blooper and Mlooper all had similar introductions in the News post and were indistinct under the claim of remaining anonymous to protect themselves. None of the accounts had been described to be new art staff. Krisgoat’s profile was wiped of information and lacked a formal goodbye to the site.
Shortly after the news post, an official Design-A-Goatling thread was created for submitting Battle Center ADs and items for January 2026. Many users commented questions regarding the non-existent Site Artist rather than submitting designs due to the previously comment-locked announcement. The most notable entry was Elephant in the roomling.
On a public criticism blog, it was anonymously revealed that the IP Address used for the account Glooper matched Krisgoat’s main IP Address[8], showing that the acquisition of the site was false. Additionally, Krisgoat’s PayPal account was still connected to the site for Diamond Dust purchases.
As of January 3rd 2026, Goatlings.com is currently inactive, featuring a short statement from "Goatlings Staff" announcing the sites official shutdown.
Users Financial Frustrations[]
As time went on, users began to question on site and critisism blogs where their money was going from Diamond Dust purchases. When pressured about this, Krisgoat released a pie chart roughly breaking down her expenses in an attempt to quell users growing frustrations. Prior to this chart being released, it was discovered that Krisgoat had lied to users about her hardware capabilities to do a charity stream for Palestine, despite streaming with her 18+ Vtuber model persona with full body rigging. In addition, she attempted to quiet users growing concerns of if she was fairly paying her staff by introducing "Tip a Mod" which she advertised as a direct way for users to pay staff for their work.
Events Leading to Site Shutdown[]
A written summary with screenshots and ex staff statements was written by RadioactivePlants on the goatlings subreddit. It was then converted to a tumblr post for ease of access and to spread more awareness.
